Maron!

I read a newspaper. I found a news which is interested.
Maron may be one of the most popular stationmasters in Japan, even though he only has honorary status. Commuters often make special trips to meet him, but instead of shaking hands, he may lift a paw and bark.
The 8-years-old Yorkshire terrier is honorary stationmaster of Oku-Nakayama Kogen Station operated by Iwate Galaxy Railway Co., in Ichinohemachi, Iwate Prefecture. He even wears a replica of a real stationmaster’s uniform.
The dog belongs to Yoko Motoki, 65, who works at the station. “I’m happy to see the smiling faces of the commuters,” the proud owner said in reference to the people who make a fuss over Maron.
A typical day for Maron starts at 6:30 a.m., before the arrival of the first train. Besides welcoming the day’s first commuters at the ticket gates, Maron will strike a pose with the help of his owner’s hand and salute the train driver, as if to wish the driver a safe journey for the day.
He will instinctively bark to alert Motoki when he senses people are coming to the station. The canine stationmaster also considers it his duty to patrol the station and its surroundings. In November, 1999, before the launch of the semipublic railway, Motoki worked at JR Oku-Nakayama Station, the predecessor to Oku-Nakayama Kogen Station. She said she always wanted to be with Maron, even at work. Therefore, in the following year, she started bringing her pet to the station.

Everyday is busy for me !

I wanna sleep more. I have three part- time job. So, I have no free time. I work at the bar, yakiniku shop and caterer's shop. I like to work. But, I like to sleep, too. Ha-ha:) Everyday is very hard. But, I live a full life.
I drunk with my club's member at the bar yesterday. We started drinking from 12:00 a.m. And we finished drinking at 3:00 a.m. And I got up at 9:00 a.m. I'm so sleepy!!!! But, I have to go part-time job today. I don't wanna go!! But I have to go... I have a lot of things to do. I wanna more time!! I think it is not enough what a day is 24 hours.

NZ life!!

I went shopping with my friends on Saturday. First, my friend and I walked to station. It took 40 minutes. We were so tired. And we took a train in New Zealand for the first time. We went to Queen street. We had lunch there. It was so good. And we enjoed shopping. After that we took a bus. And we went to New market.I bought some clothes, boots, sourvenirs. And I bought present for my host mother. My host mother's birthday is August 11!! I bought a kettle-holder.Because when my host mother cook and took out hot meals from oven, she always use a towel. So, I chose it. I hope she like it. Then we had dinner. We went to Japanese restaurant.At first, we didn't expect. But, it was very good!! We were impressed!! So, we had a good time on Saturday.
Next day, I went to grandmother and grandfather's house with my host family by car. I like a drive. The house is far from my host family' house. And grandmother spoke slowly for me. Then she cooked brunch for us. So good!!! And they have two dogs. It was so cute. After we went back home, I played with my host child. We played basketball and soccer. And we played camping under the table. It was so funny. My host children are so cute!! I like them very much!! And my host father cooked banana cake for birthday. He is good father. And I wrote a birthday card for my host mother.

August 11
Today is Sonya's birthday. I gave a present. She looks happy. And I was happy! I could speak a lot of things today with my host family.We ate banana cake and ice cream. Hokey Pokey is sop delicious! I love this ice cream. And banana cake was made by my host father. I had a good time with my host family. And I went to Auckland museum. I watched Maori show. It was very cool! I like Maori. It was so funny. And today's bus driver can speak Japanese. His Japanese is so good.

Today was rainy day. Horse ridding is postponed. So, we went to Sylvia Park. I bought some foods for lunch. And I bought a cup and two pens. So tired! This shopping mall is too big. I drank a juice there. It is so good. But, bus was so late in this morning. So, we were late for class. NZ's bus is too late!! But, Japanese bus is a little fast.

I went to grand mother's house with my host family by car. I love driving. Grand mother spoke slowly for me. And she cooked branch. After we went back home, I played with Jack. Jack took photo with me. So cute. And we played basketball, baseball and camping ubder the table. I love Jack. And Sunia made banana cake for birthday. He is good father. Sunday is relax time. It is so nice.

August 8
Today is 08/08/08!!It is special! LUCKY!But I have a cold. I have a headache. Two children came to our home today. So cute:) I will go shopping tomorrow. I'm looking forward to going downtown. I love shopping. I will go there with Shiori, Natsuki and Mana. I made a crane with Origami. Sonya exhibited it on the wall I was glad!

I went shopping with my friends. But, it was rain today. Mana and I walked from house to station. It took 40 minutes!! We are so tired and got wet! And I took train in NZ for the first time. It was cheaper than Japanese one. At first, we went to Queen St. And we had lunch at Burger King. It was so good. Then, we went to New Market. I bought some clothes, boots, and souvenirs. And I bought present for birthday. When mother cook and take out hot food from an oven, she often use towel. So, I bought Nabe tukami. I hope she like it. And we had dinner at Japanese restaurant called Rikka. It was so so so good!!!! After I went back home, I watched "Titanic". This is my favorite movie!

Young people in NZ and conclusion

In NZ
Young people do a lot of things in Auckland, too. I took the same questionnaire in Auckland.
Some girls said they like to go shopping and beach to the first question. Other girls said they like to go café, hang out and so on. On the other hand, some boys said they like talking with their friends, watching movies, playing poker and playing game. In the second question, most girls said they go to friend’s house or shopping mall. Other girls said they go to everywhere in their free time. Girls are very activity in Auckland. And some boys go shopping, see NZ, skiing and go to mates place, and others stay at home or sleep. In third question, about foods, both boys and girls said they think sushi. Other girls answered they think hot chocolate, Mrs. Higgins oven fresh cookies and brioche. And other boys answered pies, hokey pokey, Turkish, kebab, healthier food. Next is about clothes. Some girls said formal clothes and cardigans, and others said skinny jeans and pocket dresses. And some boys said tight colorful shirts. Most boys said they have favorite brands. Next is about places. Both boys and girls like downtown the best. And other girls said they like New market and Parnel. There are a lot of clothes shops, general stores and restaurant in New Market. Young people often go shopping there. On the other hands, other boys said they like mission bay, Piha beach and clubbing in town. In the forth question, both boys and girls go to beach and do BBQ in summer the most. Other girls go fishing, swimming and camping. And some boys go to road trip, and others stay at home. And in New Zealand, they have Christmas in summer. So, young people enjoy various things such as party and exchanging present on Christmas Day. In the fifth question, some girls go to snow place or their friend’s house, and others watch TV or DVD or movies. And some boys go to ski field or maters place or watch rugby, others stay at home to relax and play PC game. In the sixth question, all of the girls who answered this questionnaire get some information from their friends. And most boys get information from Internet or their friends. There were boys who get information from TV or magazine one by one. In the seventh question, the most popular way is bus. A boy said if bus fare is cheap, he ride a bus. And when he go to watch rugby, he ride a train. Some of them walk every where. In the last question, they want Disney land, theme park, cheap clothes shop, ice skate link, more parks, fun stuff for teenagers, beer garden, department store such as Mitsukoshi and so on.

In Auckland, I went to a lot of places. For example, I went to sky tower twice. My friends and I went to there at night. So, we could see a beautiful night view. And there were a lot of Japanese restaurant in Auckland. There were many young people there and they used chopsticks well. Then I went to a bar called Kingslander. There were many young people there. And it was very specious and clean place. And when I talked with friend who is New Zealander, she said Auckland is boring. Because there are little exiting place in Auckland.

Now, I talk the differences between activity in Auckland and Kumamoto.
At first, when young people in Kumamoto hang out, they often use car. But, young people in Auckland often public institution such as bus and train. The reason they have to study three years when they get a driver’s license. But, bus and train is often late and inconvenience. And young people in Auckland often walk everywhere.

Second, we can’t buy fireworks all the year in New Zealand. We can buy it only for several days in November. But, we can buy fireworks from May in Kumamoto. So, we can enjoy doing some fireworks all the year. Basically, young people in Kumamoto enjoy various things such as karaoke, driving all the year.

Then, people in New Zealand go to bed earlier than Japanese people. Public institutions stop too early on Saturday and Sunday. So, young people hang out from night less than young people in Kumamoto.

And, I found the same between activity in Auckland and Kumamoto.
For example, both girls are susceptible to changes in fashion. But, Japanese girls often go shopping more than New Zealander girls. And both young people like to hang out with their friends.

About NZ

We spend every day doing a lot of things. In Kumamoto, Japan, there are many places to play or go. Young people do many delightful things, for example, driving, shopping, and so on.
In Auckland and Kumamoto, what do young people do every day? Where do they often go, and what do they like to do? What is coming into fashion in Auckland? What are the differences?
To answer these questions, I will give a questionnaire about young people’s activities to my host family and friends. I will give the same questionnaire about young people’s activities to my friends in KGU, too. Further, I will go or do various things with my host family and friends.
Section 2 of this paper will show about young people’s activity in Kumamoto. What do young people do in Kumamoto? Section 3 will show about young people’s activity in Auckland. What are the most popular things in Auckland? Section 4 will discuss the differences between activities in Auckland.
In Kumamoto 　
Young people do a lot of things in Kumamoto. And I took a questionnaire to 24 students of both sexes in KGU. So, I’ll show about questionnaire of result.
First question is “What do you like to do with your friends?” Most girl students said they like talking and shopping. Other girl students said they like drinking, driving, eating out and staying at their friends. On the other hands, most boy students said playing game, trip and eating grilled slices of meat. Second question is “What do you often go in your free time?” Most girl students said they often go downtown or shopping mall such as PARCO, You me town in Hikarinomori and shopping mall Clair to go shopping. Other girl students said they go to Karaoke, some rivers, mountain and their home. And most boy students said café, pachinko and mountain Third question is “Do you think what thing is coming into fashion in Kumamoto?” At first, I talk about foods. There are many answers of this question. Some girl students said they thought Tapioca and mango. These are very popular food lately in Japan. Other answers are bid parfait, mineral water, ice cream, white taiyaki, avocado and so on. On the other hands, some boy students said they thought parfait of swiss and a spicy lotus root. Next, I talk about clothes. There are many answers of this question, too. Some girl students said they thought a dress, clothes which are sold at PARCO. Other answers are short pants, color pants, sandal of wedge sole, and so on. And some boy students said plain-colored clothes and sweater. At last, I talk about places. Most girl students said they thought downtown, shopping mall Clair and You me town. Another girl said she thought Aso. Aso is very popular sightseeing area. Young people often go to Aso to drive or see a night view. Other answers are hot spring, Movie Theater. On the other hands, most boy students said Round one. We can play bowling, do karaoke and play various sports there. Forth question is “What do you do in summer?” Most girl students said they go to the beach and summer festival. They also go to fireworks display and do a sparkler. And some girls go camping and travel. And some boys said they go to the beach, river and summer festival. Fifth question is “What do you do in winter?” Most girls said they go to skating and see a night view. Some girls go to hot spring and do a Nabe party. Nabe is hot pot cooked at the table. And when they stay at their home, they eat some oranges in a kotatsu. On the other hand, most boys said they go to hot spring and skiing. Both boys and girls have a snowball fight if it will be snow in winter. Sixth question is “When you go hang out, what do you get information?” The most popular way is from their friends. And some girls said they use some magazine and Internet. In Kumamoto, we can read some local magazine, for example, “no!”, “Tankuma” and so on. We can know some information in Kumamoto. And boys get some information from TV sometimes. Seventh question is “When you go out to play, what transportation do you use?” The most popular way is car. We can get a driver’s license from 18 years old. So, we often use car to move. The second popular way is bus and train. The third popular way is bicycle. Some boys said use a motorcycle. And last question is “What kind of shop or institution do you want in Kumamoto?” They want big shopping mall and amusement park the most. Other answers are big pool, hot spring, aquarium and so on.

August 6 and 7

August 6
I went shopping. I went to St. Lukes shopping mall. But, I bought only stickers, card and book. I enjoyed shopping! And I gave my family gifts which bought from Japan. They seemed to be glad. I was relieved. And I have a cold! So, I feel sluggish. I took some medicine. I 'm tired. And I will go to Kelly tarinton tomorrow. And NZ is too cold. I'm freezing!!!

August 7
I went to an aquarium called Kelly tarinton. There were a lot of penguins and fishes. There were some stingrays, too. And we rode a small red train. We could see penguins at close. They were so cute! But, Mana forgot her hat there. She looked so sad.

And we went to Panel road. We bought chocolates. It was very yummy!! Panel road is very historical place. After that, we went back to our school. We attended a class. We did roll playing and we did shaping and melting. We had a good time. And we bought a bus card. But, shopping assistant is bad!

And when I went back home, Riley kissed me!! I was so happy!! I love Riley. Then I ate curry for dinner. This wasn't hot. Japanese curry and rice is too hot for me. So, it was good! And rice was similar to Japanese. So, I like it! My host mother said "Do you miss rice?" So, I said "A little." Mother said, "I cook more!" I was glad. Thank you, mum. And we should examine my topic tomorrow. But, I don't decide my topic.

AUGUST 5

I went to sky tower. It was very high. I don't like high place. So, I was frightened. We took a lot of pictures there. And I bought some souvenirs. After that, we went to the beach called Mission bay. We looked a beautiful view and a lot of shells. And there are many pigeons and white birds.

And we went back to school. We ate lunch. We went to Subway. It was very nice fast food. And class was very fun! We studyed "Meet in the morning!!". Today, I did homework with my host family. BUt, my host family didn't know. So, host mother's mother called her. And she answered my host mother's questions. Thank you very much. My host family are so kind:)

I met my host family. Host mother is Sonya. She is 25 years old. Next Monday is her birthday. And host father is Sunia. He is from Tonga. And they have two sons. They are Jack and Riley. They are very cute and good boys. They have two dogs. These are big one and small one.
They told me how to go to school. I go to school by bus. I'm little nerves. And I can't listen well. So, I was sad. I don't have confidence. And we had a night flight. So, I was very tired today. But, my host families are very kind to me.

Koizora

This is my favorite movie. This movie is my precious memory. I went to this movie with my special person. When I watched this movie, I was moved to tears. And when I watched this movie again, I was moved to tears again. This story is nonfiction. So, I feel with the heroine of a story. And this story's theme is pure love.
And Haruma Miura is my favorite actor. He played the part of Hiro. Hiro is my ideal boy. He is cool. Hiro came down with an illness. And he died. Hiro said "I don't wipe your tears my hands!" When I heard this phrase, I was moved to tears!! Hiro is cool! I am fallen in love with Hiro. And Mika who is played Yui Aragaki is also very cute. Mika is pure girl, and she trusted Hiro. And Hiro adopt an attitude of detachment toward Mika. But, it is his tender.
And, Yu is also very kind. He is watching over Mika. He has generous heart. After Mika and Hiro separate, Yu supported Mika. But, after all, Mika returned to Hiro. At the time, Yu was very kind. Because of he pressed his feelings to death. I thought he is too kind, but he really loved Mika. I cannot do a thing like this. I respect him.
I have read this story twice with my cell phone. It is novel of cell phone. When I read this story, I was moved to tears many times. I don’t like read novel. But, my friend said “This novel is very nice. So why don’t you read this story? ” So, I reluctantly read “Koizora” But, this story is too sad! So I have cried many times.
Please read “Koizora”. Maybe you will be moved to tears. And recently, I read novel every night. I have a many tests. But, I like to read novels. I have to write a report. But, I read novel. I am not good at concentrating. But, when I read some novels, I can concentrate. So, I often stay up late. I have to get up early. So, I have to go to bed early. But, I read some novels!!
And I have to get up at 6:00 a.m. But, I have to write report. And I have to study for my test. I want to sleep. I like to sleep. I want to go to bed early. But!! I cannot. Recently, I have to do a lot of things. I am so busy I will take any help I can get. But, summer vacation is coming soon! I am looking forward to coming summer vacation.

Rookies

This is a drama, "Rookies". This is my favorite drama. I have written about Rookies many times. I love Hayato Ichihara. He is very cool. He is playing the part of Aniya. Aniya is very strong and he is good at baseball. His position is pitcher. He likes to play baseball anyone else. But, he is not a docile boy. So, he is bungler. But, he is thinking companions. Anyway he is cool.

And I like Wakana, too. Wakana's position is catcher. Wakana is warm-hearted. And he is the hardworking type. They are fundamental playful boys. And they are pure. They have a dream. It is "go to Koshien!” At first, they don't have a dream. But, a man who is teacher appeared. And, their life is change. They often have some problems. But, they overcome their problem every day. So, their teamwork is very nice. They sometimes fight each other, but they work well together as a team. They are always spoiling for a fight. But, they promise teacher. It is "Don't fight someone". They keep their promise. I think they are cool!!

I will go to Marinoa city next Sunday with my friends. Because of My friend and I will go to New Zealand in August. So, we want to buy some clothes. I'm looking forward to going there. I want to go there early.Marinoa City is in Fukuoka. I have visited there twice. I love to go shopping. I often go shopping alone. Because of I am an irresolute. When I go shopping alone, I go to same shop again and again. So, if I go shopping with my friend, I am anxious without my friend is bored or not. But, I will go shopping with my friends. BUT! So, I have two part-time jobs. I work part-time job on weekend. I was very tired. But, I have to go Okinawa in September. So, I have to save enough money to go to Okinawa. But… I want to quit my part-time jobs. I want to find new job. Because of my part-time job is very hard. But I want money. So, I cannot quit.

When I go to some other place, I take a picture with my cell phone. And, When I think I want to contact with my friends, I can contact them at any time. I depend on cell phone. Because cell phone is very convenient. We can send a mail, watch TV, take a picture, take a movie, and listen to music with cell phone. We should use cell phone in moderation.
